RD IN SCHOOLS

USING FOOTBALL AND MOVEMENT TO BUILD CONFIDENT, CONNECTED TAMARIKI

RD in Schools is a values-driven programme that uses football and movement to support the holistic development of tamariki and rangatahi.
Our sessions are fun, inclusive, and built around one simple belief:

Sport should grow the person before the player.

We create safe, structured environments where students can move, play, think, and lead — no matter their ability or background.

What we offer:

We partner with primary and intermediate schools to deliver:

- Football and multi-movement sessions before, during or after school hours

- 8–10 week programme blocks (Term-based)

- Accessible and inclusive delivery for all learners

- Life skills and values through sport

- Optional workshops on nutrition, mindset, and wellbeing
Support for teachers to integrate movement into classroom learning

- Potential for curriculum links (maths, literacy, leadership)

Program layers:

Each session includes:

- Energisers to build agility and break the ice (e.g., knee tag)

- Football-based games with teamwork, movement, and reflection

- Student leadership & communication roles

- Real-time learning questions linked to values and critical thinking

- Coaching that prioritises connection, safety, and confidence

We also design sessions that can integrate with classroom goals — such as maths through sport (e.g., scoring systems, measurement, sequencing) and reflective writing prompts.

Who is it for?

- Schools looking to strengthen Health & PE, wellbeing, and engagement in physical activity
