RD HQ
Movement before mastery. Play before pressure.
What RD HQ is about
- A space to grow through movement, play and care.
RD HQ is built on lived experience and grounded in research.
Here, kids don’t specialize early — they explore.
They move, they play, they figure things out.
We support the early stages of physical literacy, the athletic development of older youth and the technical development of footballers, always through a coaching approach that values freedom, fun and long-term development.

A sport-neutral program that helps kids move better, get stronger, and feel more confident in their bodies. We use games, fun challenges, and speed and power activities to build balance, coordination, and overall athletic ability. It’s great for kids who play lots of sports — or none yet — and helps reduce the risk of growth-related injuries by improving strength and control.
Why it matters:
Evidence from youth athletic development confirms that building strength, coordination, and movement variety early improves performance in any sport. It also helps protect growing bodies and builds the confidence to try new activities.

A fun, play-based program for our youngest movers. We focus on developing balance, coordination, and basic movement skills through games, obstacle courses, and creative challenges. It’s all about building confidence, having fun, and getting kids comfortable moving in different ways.
Why it matters:
Research shows that early exposure to a wide variety of movements builds stronger brain-to-body connections for balance, coordination, and control. At this age, playful activities are the most effective way to set up a lifetime of confident movement.

For players with a basic level of technical ability who are ready for more challenging, faster-paced training. We work on ball mastery under pressure, competitive small-sided games, and movement challenges to build speed, strength, and game awareness. The aim is to sharpen technique, improve decision-making, and prepare players to perform at a higher level.
Why it matters:
Sports science shows that once players have a technical foundation, training under realistic game conditions accelerates improvement. Adding targeted speed, strength, and agility work supports performance and reduces injury risk during growth spurts.
