SL Jump to Hold

This jumping and balance challenge is designed to build single-leg strength, landing control, and body awareness — all critical for young athletes and active kids.

Using any object as a ground marker (a towel, band, or small pipe), your child stands on one leg, jumps laterally over the marker, and lands on the opposite foot — holding that landing for at least 3 seconds. The goal is to complete 6 total clean landings, focusing on balance, control, and precision.

If they lose balance, they restart the rep. It’s not just about jumping — it’s about owning the landing.

At RD Coaching, we turn movement into meaningful tasks — helping kids develop strength, stability, and confidence through challenges that feel like games.
