RD STREET
January 25, 2026
Venue:
Sacred Heart College, Glendowie
RD Street is a brand-new 3v3 street football festival inspired by the way many of us grew up playing freely, creating our own games, learning through mistakes, and finding confidence on the streets long before we ever stepped onto a proper pitch.
I always say the streets were my biggest teacher.
Not because of the football alone, but because of the freedom, the people, the problem-solving, the energy, the culture, and the life skills that came with it.
Football gave me relationships, values, resilience, a profession I love, and a purpose I still carry today.
We want to bring that same experience to our young people.
What makes RD Street different?
This entire event will be run by young men and women from our community referees, content creators, operations crew, youth business owners, and storytellers.
They will run the courts, manage the flow, capture media, build the vibe, and learn the real-life skills the sport can offer beyond playing.
