It was never about going “pro” - Football my biggest Teacher →
All my life, I dedicated everything to this sport. The early mornings, the cold, the long travel days, the sacrifices, missing family events, missing friends, and the absolute highs and the lowest of lows.
For the longest time, I thought it was all about becoming a professional. That that was the end goal.
But now I sit back and see the depth of that journey.
When I stepped away from full-time football, I felt lost! No identity, no direction, no idea what came next. I genuinely thought I had failed because I didn’t achieve what I set out to achieve.
But all those hours, all that commitment, all that chaos… it built everything I am today.
It taught me discipline.
It taught me hard work.
It taught me ethics and character.
It taught me that one bad day or moment doesn’t define you.
It’s what you do after it that matters.
Football showed me that even if you don’t reach the destination you imagined, you still become a better version of yourself along the way.
It prepares you for the next chapter, even when you don’t realise it.
Now, every day, I give life my best.
Some days are smooth, some days are rough.
But it’s never about one perfect stroke…
It’s about the whole canvas you build over time with every imperfect stroke.
