Bear Round the World

This is a challenge we use at RD Coaching to develop core strength, coordination, and body control — without traditional reps and sets.

Here’s how it works: starting in a bear crawl position (knees just off the ground), your child places a light object like a medicine ball, football, or basketball on their back. The task is to move the ball from one hand to the other, across their body, without letting it fall. Every successful transfer counts as one rep — and the goal is to get as many as possible in 30 seconds.

It’s a simple but powerful way to train focus, posture, and controlled movement — all in a format that feels like a game, not a workout.
