This power task is all about effort, intent, and progress — using a simple standing jump to develop lower-body explosiveness and goal setting.
Your child starts from a standing position and performs a broad jump, marking their landing spot with a cone or any small object. They get three attempts, each time trying to beat their previous distance. It’s not about comparing to others — it’s about giving maximum effort and improving with each jump.
This task builds leg strength, power output, and motivation through self-competition — helping kids understand how to push themselves in a healthy, rewarding way.
